Clinical Supervision with Yesenia Delgado. LMFT
Yesenia offers trauma-informed, culturally responsive clinical supervision for pre-licensed therapists seeking thoughtful, ethical, and developmentally supportive guidance. Supervision is grounded in systemic theory, relational practice, and an emphasis on self-of-the-therapist, cultural humility, and clinical integrity.
Supervision is available for associates and interns pursuing licensure in Florida and Nevada.
EMPOWERing YOU NOT ONLY AS A THERAPIST BUT AS An entrepreneur.
My Supervision Philosophy
I approach supervision with the same values I hold in therapy, IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT CLOCKING HOURS.
Warmth & Honesty
I create a supportive environment while also challenging you to stretch beyond your comfort zone and grow with intention.
Self-of-the-Therapist Work
Who you are matters as much as what you know. We’ll explore how your story, values, and blind spots show up in the therapy room — and how to work with them ethically and skillfully.
Cultural Humility
We approach cases through a systemic and multicultural lens, preparing you to meet the diverse needs of today’s clients with awareness and respect.
Trauma-Informed & Sex-Positive Lens
Supervision integrates trauma-informed and sex-positive perspectives, supporting work around trauma, intimacy, desire, identity, and the intersection of sexuality with culture and lived experience.
Supervision with me is collaborative, creative, and alive. This is not just about learning interventions, it’s about learning to trust yourself as a therapist.

*SUPERVISION IS PROVIDED WHILE CLINICIANS WORK UNDER MY LICENSE.
*my SUPERVISION is INFORMED BY my ADVANCED Supervising TRAINING COMPLETED at THE BRIEF THERAPY INSTITUTE AT NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY (2023-2024), INCLUDING TWO SEMESTERS OF INTENSIVE LIVE SUPERVISION WITH A DOUBLE-SIDED MIRROR MODEL, WEEKLY SIX-HOUR TRAINING BLOCKS with students, THEORY DEVELOPMENT, AND SELF-OF-THE-THERAPIST WORK.
The Experience
Supervision models vary widely. Some settings offer high-volume supervision at lower rates, often within community or agency-based structures. My approach is intentionally different.
I do not operate a high-volume supervision practice. I intentionally maintain a limited supervision caseload so that supervision remains relational, clinically rich, and ethically grounded. This allows me to offer presence, depth, and thoughtful engagement with each supervisee rather than rushed or LARGER GROUP transactional oversight.
This model is best suited for clinicians who are seeking mentorship, intentional professional development, and a supervision relationship grounded in quality, reflection, and growth.
