A note from the founder
Why I created Authentic Growth Counseling
I’m Yesenia Delgado, a first generation Cuban American and Latina Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with ten years of experience serving clients across Florida, Nevada, and Colorado. I created Authentic Growth Counseling because I wanted therapy to feel more personal, thoughtful, and human. Not like walking into a large practice where you are matched with whoever is available, but like entering a space where your story is understood, your therapist is carefully chosen, and the work is tailored to who you are.
As a boutique therapy practice, we value depth, connection, and intentional care. Our clinicians bring strong clinical training into the room, but we also believe that the relationship itself matters. Healing is not one size fits all, and neither is therapy. My own experience centers on helping individuals and couples build healthier relationships with themselves, with others, and with the lives they want to create. I am also an Approved Clinical Supervisor in Florida and Nevada, a Doctoral Candidate at Nova Southeastern University, and completing advanced training in sex therapy.
Authentic Growth Counseling was built to be a place where people can feel seen, challenged, supported, and genuinely known.
Healing is not one size fits all, and neither is therapy.

Yesenia specializes in trauma informed, attachment focused, and relational therapy for adults and couples. She works with complex and developmental trauma, sexual abuse, first responder stress, attachment wounds, and relational patterns that impact intimacy, identity, and emotional safety.
She integrates EMDR, nervous system regulation, systemic therapy, and sex therapy to support deep, embodied healing, helping clients move beyond survival patterns and into secure connection, self trust, and authentic expression.
