Meet Yesenia

Founder and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Qualified State Supervisor

I’m Yesenia Delgado, a first-generation Cuban American and Latina Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with ten years experience serving clients across Florida, Nevada, and Colorado. I created Authentic Growth Counseling because I wanted therapy to feel more personal, thoughtful, and human. Not like walking into a large practice where you are matched with whoever is available, but like entering a space where your story is understood, your therapist is carefully chosen, and the work is tailored to who you are.

As a boutique therapy practice, we value depth, connection, and intentional care. Our clinicians bring strong clinical training into the room, but we also believe that the relationship itself matters. Healing is not one-size-fits-all, and neither is therapy. My own experience centers on helping individuals and couples build healthier relationships with themselves, with others, and with the lives they want to create. I am also an Approved Clinical Supervisor in Florida and Nevada, a Doctoral Candidate at Nova Southeastern University, and completing advanced training in sex therapy.
